On 26-30 November 2018, I
was given the opportunity to be involved in one of the student activities. BSI
Entrepreneur Fair 2018 is one of the agenda of activities that are carried out
annually to foster student entrepreneurial spirit. In this activity, students
are required to be entrepreneurs. Students and their groups will determine what
kind of business they will run. Most of them sell food, drinks, fashion
products and there are some that sell service products such as making henna on
hand.
The event was so lively because it involved almost all the first semester students of all majors at the UBSI. As a judge, I am obliged to come to the stand determined by the committee. I was given the opportunity to rate the 8 existing stands. The eight stands that I value sell food and drinks. The aspects that I value include the cleanliness and tidiness of the stand, the cohesiveness of group members, food and beverage packaging, taste and price as well as business planning. I am very happy to be given the opportunity to be part of the 2018 UBSI Entrepreneur Fair jury, because I can interact more closely with students both in the English department and outside the English department.
